We have heard a lot about proximity tourism in the period of the lockdown but let's see together what it is. By proximity tourism we mean the movement of the traveler to destinations close to home that can be reached mostly with a trip by car, possibly not too crowded places such as the most beautiful villages in Italy between sea, mountains and hills, with the rediscovery of slow tourism. Many will return to the holidays of a few decades ago in which they rented an apartment in a location within 100 km from home. Then now with Airbnb it is easy to find an accommodation that suits your needs and pockets. Not only the sea and villages are part of proximity tourism but also a lot of mountains, much more than usual. Many sea lovers will prefer to relax in the woods rather than adapt to that a different way of experiencing the beach and everything that revolves around it. Local tourism is a type of tourism that we are not really used to living. But the Covid-19 pandemic has led us to rediscover our beloved, Italy, the most beautiful land in the world. The hope is that when everything passes, the desire to ride will always remain high.
